🎟️ 1. General Policy – Final Sales
All ticket sales made through the Parvati Freaks platform are considered final by default. This means tickets are strictly non-refundable once purchased unless the event is canceled, postponed, or significantly changed.
We understand that life — and events — can be unpredictable. That’s why we provide a structured refund process if something happens outside your control regarding the event’s execution.
🚨 2. Refunds for Cancellations & Postponements
If an event is canceled, indefinitely postponed, rescheduled, or shut down due to external causes (weather, legal restrictions, force majeure), ticket buyers are entitled to a refund under the following conditions:
✅ Refund Calculation & The 15% Fee:
- Buyers will receive a refund of their ticket purchase, minus a 15% convenience fee.
- This 15% deduction is strictly non-refundable and covers the payment gateway processing and platform operational costs already incurred.
🔁 How Are Refunds Processed?
- Refunds are processed by Parvati Freaks only after we receive formal confirmation of cancellation from the event organizer.
- No action is usually required from the buyer; the process is initiated automatically.
- Refunds (less the 15% fee) will be returned to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
- We will notify all ticket holders by email or SMS with updates and refund statuses.
🗓️ 3. What If the Event Is Rescheduled?
If an event is rescheduled (not canceled), your current ticket will automatically remain valid for the new date.
However, if you cannot attend the rescheduled event date, you may:
- Request a refund (subject to the standard 15% convenience fee deduction).
- Transfer your ticket to someone else (if allowed by the organizer).
🚫 4. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Granted
To protect the integrity of organizers and the platform, we do not issue refunds under the following circumstances:
- You changed your mind after purchasing.
- You forgot the event date or arrived late.
- You missed the event due to personal conflicts, illness, or travel delays.
- The weather was poor, but the event still occurred as scheduled.
- You were denied entry due to personal behavior, intoxication, or failure to meet venue entry requirements.
🔄 5. Ticket Transfers
Some events may allow you to transfer your ticket to another person. This is entirely up to the organizer’s discretion.
- Contact the event organizer directly for approval.
- Follow any transfer procedures they require.
Parvati Freaks is not responsible for any unofficial ticket transfers or resales conducted outside the platform.
🛠️ 6. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue during checkout, such as:
- Double payment / Charged twice
- Payment error but funds were deducted
- Ticket not delivered to email
Please contact support immediately. Valid technical errors resulting in double charges will be refunded in full (100%) within 5–10 business days.
💸 7. Organizer Fund Settlements (Payout Policy)
At Parvati Freaks, we’re committed to supporting independent event organizers with fair, timely access to their earnings.
- Organizers will receive their event funds within 7 to 8 business days after the event officially ends.
- Payouts will be made to the verified bank account or wallet registered in the organizer profile.
✅ To ensure a smooth payout:
- Organizers must provide accurate payment and tax information.
- Events must be completed successfully with no open refund disputes.
- Organizers must formally agree to our refund policy for canceled or postponed events.
⚠️ Note: If an event is canceled or postponed, payouts will be temporarily held until all buyer refunds (minus the 15% fee) are fully processed.
🤝 8. Organizer Obligations
As an event organizer on Parvati Freaks, you agree to clearly state your event details, honor this refund policy, cooperate with refund requests, and maintain communication with buyers in good faith. Failure to comply may result in delayed payouts or removal from the platform.
